The Alliance of Non-Himalayan Nuns (ANHN) is an international, non-sectarian organization commited to supporting women ordained as Tibetan Buddhist nuns from outside traditional Tibetan Buddhist regions.
Founded in 2014, the Alliance of Non-Himalayan Nuns (ANHN) is an international organization committed to supporting Tibetan Buddhist nuns located outside traditional Tibetan Buddhist regions. Jetsunma Tenzin Palmo serves as President of ANHN.
Our aim at DGL Initiatives is to provide funds and raise awareness for female monastics ordained in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition—just as we do for their Himalayan dharma sisters. May these nuns swiftly become exemplary models of the monastic life and thus bring great benefit to their local communities, wherever they happen to be.
